I am staying with the Penny Black Stamp set, "Bouquets." Yesterday, I featured one of 4 bouquets in the set. Today's bouquet is my favorite of the four. I stamped it onto an Inchie Arts' art board and used watercolor brush markers. The art board accepts the watercolor markers exceptionally well.
This was my first attempt. What's nice about the brush markers is that the fine point of the real brush applies color in very tight corners and crevices. Those teeny spots are sometimes very difficult to get into with regular marker tips. I also outlined the entire image with a very light gray. Tomorrow, I will show you another art board square used as the centerpiece of a birthday card.

I'm sure there are many of you who will color these bouquets with much more artistic flair than I have. If you use this set, please send me a photo of what you've done. I'd love to see it!
Penny Ward likes to use items from around the house when she's making art. Here's Penny's take on using coffee filters that I saw on the Memory Box blog.

My nephew is expecting a baby boy any moment; I've been waiting and waiting to hear the ring on my phone with the call that he's here! I saw this charming "thank you" card for a baby gift on the PoppyStamps' blog and wanted to share it with you. By changing out the baby blocks with something else, you could easily use this card for any kind of thank you.

I love how Elizabeth Allan and Jill Foster are sharing the same Penny Black stamp and/or die to show their different "takes" when creating their individual card. In this posting, they are both using the Penny Black Creative Die, 51-230 Flower Pop-Outs.

Preparing for the Fourth of July and the surrounding patriotism we all feel, Marsha Valk on the Gelli Arts' blog made a patriotic kite using deli paper, stencils and their Gelli Plate.

That's all I have for today. Off to the gym . . . we'll see what happens! Thanks for stopping by.
